We interrupt this hiatus with a brilliant Vlog from Jay Smooth
I am Inkognegro and I approve this message.
I can take a hint.
Something tells me that This whole pastor Manning thing has gotten completely out of hand.
I will be wiping Pastor Manning off my blog over the weekend, because I can’t seem to get any sense of my numbers on this blog and clearly no one is reading anything else.
I am going to go behind the curtain and do some stuff and I shall return.
Feel free to hit the Blogroll while I go do some work under the hood.
The Petition edition
I am not signing the petition. I am not advocating that YOU don’t sign the petition for similar reasons. Ironically enough, Jerry Brown caught a MASSIVE amount of heat for doing exactly what Clinton is doing now.
In short, its not that Clinton is running that I have issues with. It is how. She can run all the way to Denver for all I care. But THIS????
In the Mufuckin Pittsburgh Tribune-Review???? (now as a point of fact, I once knew TWO quality Black folk who worked for the Trib, but EVERYONE knows that the Trib is a rag of the Highest order.)
Think I am lying? Try THIS on for size.:
Yes, Boys an girls, even with THIS, Bullshit here, Hillary has the constitutional right to take this all the way to the convention. I just hope all y’all are watching.
Because THIS is the Clinton Way.And you thought the GOP was just hatin, didn’t you.
Guess Who’s Back
This Post has a Soundtrack (the real version…grab the earbuds)
It Feels good to be home.
After almost a week off from work, maxing and relaxing, it is indeed good to be back on the grind. For reasons that are both obvious and notso obvious, Being back in the Burgh is always cause for a good bit of introspection and general spection (!). With the Pennsylvania Primary looming ominously over the state, more eyes than usual were on the campaign.
Personally, knowing the state as I do, I expect a 7-15 point Clinton victory. It IS a demographic nightmare for Obama and essentially is akin to a Punxsutawney Phil sighting, a whole lot of fuss over something that ultimately won’t mean a whole lot. Obama, wisely is pacing his Pennsylvania appearances while still working on Oregon, West Virginia, Indiana and other states, maintaining a winning strategy of never putting all his proverbial eggs in one basket.
Of course there is the minor issue of Obama being prohibitively ahead. But frankly I’m just over the whole primary bit. Pennsylvania is very much yesterday, and for the Clintons to pretend that Pennsylvania represents some microcosm of the 21st Century United States is a little bit grating. *turns the page*
Let’s see what else is going on…
March Madness? Don’t ask. All the upsets I suspected and didn’t pick…(Davidson) happened and all the ones I did Pick (Pittsburgh to the Final Four, Drake, Butler) didn’t. Either Way, 10 out of 16 ain’t too bad.
Jeremiah Wright is STILL on TV.
There is always the personal stuff that comes with going home…but I will dice that up and spread it around.
This couldn’t wait until after vacation…
So, about that experience.
Umpteen million repeats of Pastor Wright…and we can’t get a LITTLE of this?

Seven Whole Days.
(Sigh, short haired Toni Braxton, before all the half naked Mag covers, all the athletes, and all the funny named babies.)
By the time you read this, hopefully I will be 37,000 feet in the air, on my way to Pittsburgh for a well deserved vacation with my sons, wife, mother, and grandmother.
Feel free to enjoy Those folk on the blog roll. I will be back, tanned rested and ready come March 25.
Pins and Needles, Needles and Pins
I am supposed to be going to work right now. I am NOT moving from this office until I hear it.
All of it.
I won’t be able to address it until I get home from work, but I won’t leave this house until I get to hear it in its entirety.
Barack Obama wanted to avoid this.
Desperately. But there was NO.EFFIN.WAY. He was going to get around this.
It is almost like white America is daring him to brandish his ghetto pass in front of the whole world.
Hot, Damn. It’s a New Day.
note: The subject matter of this song has little if anything to do with the subject matter of this post, other than I have been repeating the hook over and over again while setting up my new desktop.
Hot Damn, It’s a New Day.
The PawnShop special served it’s time. February 2005-March 2008. Rest in peace.
So, I am now officially in the era of Vista. I will gladly accept any comments or warnings here.
